"Flooded Magic Castle"

The Story: This photo was taken during cave diving in the cave Chun-Ya downstream in Yucatan, Mexico. There are hundreds of kilometres of caves in Yucatan. In the caves you can find a really amazing world: beautiful decorations, stalagmites and other shapes. Because there is absolute darkness in the caves, a special way of illuminating the photographed scene must be used. A total of five flashes were used for this photo. Three flashes were deployed in the cave area and two were located on the case.

Location:  Yucatan, Mexico

Equipment Used:  Sony A7R II, Sony 16-35mm F4 Lens, Sea & Sea MDX-A7 II Housing, Dual Sea & Sea YS110 Alpha, Dual Sea & Sea YS-D2, Sea & Sea YS-D1 Strobes

Camera Settings: 1/80 sec, F9, ISO 3200
