"Marine Iguana Sunburst"

Ty won a 3-night dive package from Manta Ray Bay Resort & Yap Divers

The Story:  In the chilly waters surrounding Fernandina Island, Galapagos, the world famous Marine Iguana can be found feeding in the shallows. Due to the water temperature, the iguanas can only feed for a short period time before having to return to the surface to bask on the volcanic rocks at the shoreline. I observed several iguanas feeding voraciously, and simply waited for one to take off back to the surface while positioning myself underneath the subject for the shot.

Location:  Fernandina Island, Galapagos 

Camera:  Nikon D7200 and Tokina 10-17mm lens (F9, 1/160, ISO 200) with Sea & Sea Housing and Dual Sea & Sea YS-D1 Strobes.
