"Rangiroa Dolphin"  Shot in Rangiroa, French Polynesia with Canon 5D Mark III

The story:  Our dive guide saw this dolphin out in the blue and caught its attention by spinning around, something the local dolphins appear to appreciate! The dolphin promptly did a spin of its own and sped towards us.  I was lucky it zoomed up right before me when it appeared to say "What's up!" before zooming off.  It was all over in a few seconds. My camera settings were not set for high-speed action, but panning with the subject I managed to keep the manual AF points on target and fire in one-shot mode at the right moment.

Location:  Tiputa Reef, Rangiroa, French Polynesia

Camera:  Canon 5D Mark III, Nauticam housing, Canon 16-35mm lens, ambient light only.

Settings:  f4.5, 1/125, ISO 250
