Creative lighting in underwater photography just got a whole lot easier. Ikelite has announced their new Optical Slave Converter, which replaces the older EV Manual Controller.

What does this accessory do? It allows you to fire your strobe without a sync cord attached. This allows photographers to light the inside of wrecks, spotlight a diver or even attach strobes to divers to light the inside of a cave. The slave window provides a 90 degree field of view for remote triggering.
