“Nice Catch”

The Story:

During the summer season, we can observe Cardinalfish spawning, with males taking eggs into their mouths. However, since it’s impossible to predict when spawning will occur, we must locate a pair and wait patiently for the moment they spawn. This process can sometimes take over an hour.

Japan , Shizuoka-Pre. , Osezaki

  • Camera – Canon 7D Mark II
  • Housing – Anthis / Nexus Housing
  • Strobe/light – Inon Z-330

Camera Settings:

  • ISO 400
  • F/11
  • Shutter speed 1/200s
