Bluewater Photo announces the Divevolk Seatouch 6 Pro: Next-generation full-touchscreen Smartphone Housing

The sixth-generation housing introduces a new and improved underwater smartphone housing for flagship mobile devices, improved 6th-generation touchscreen sensitivity rated to 150,000 cycles, and a modular ecosystem of specialized underwater housing kits based on the new SeaTouch 6 Pro housing.

Bluewater Photo has recently received the Divevolk SeaTouch 6 Pro, succeeding the popular SeaTouch 4 Max Plus,and had the opportunity to test the new housing underwater. The new smartphone housing has been engineered to meet the demands of modern mobile underwater imaging, the SeaTouch 6 Pro refines Divevolk’s patented flexible membrane technology, allowing divers to operate their smartphones via full capacitive touch down to a depth of 60 meters (196 feet) without mechanical button limitations. • 6th-Generation Touchscreen Membrane: Upgraded to withstand 150,000 swipe cycles, the new polymer film supports native swipe-up gestures, multi-touch commands, and allows newer smartphone models to be housed with their tempered glass screen protectors installed.
• Expanded Internal Envelope: Designed with an 18 mm internal depth clearance to accommodate modern flagship devices with prominent camera bumps—including the latest iPhone series and Android flagships (such as the Samsung Galaxy Ultra and Xiaomi/vivo Ultra series) measuring up to 180.0 × 82.5 × 11.2 mm.
• Simplified Sealing Architecture: Features a triple-layer precision gasket system accessed via a minimal seal cover. By eliminating mechanical control shafts and penetrations through the housing wall, the design minimizes potential failure points.
• Surface Connectivity: Cellular, Wi-Fi, and GPS signals pass unimpeded through the housing body, enabling surface GPS navigation, data transmission, and compatibility with surface communication tools like the SeaLink wireless data transmitter.
