"Scallop Portrait"  Shot in Florida, USA with Nikon D7000

Steven won a 9-night dive and stay package in Indonesia with Alor Divers!

The story:  This tiny scallop was sitting on an algae covered pile of rubble and thus had nice potential for a photograph since it allowed me to get the camera slightly below the subject. I used a diopter to achieve a high magnification to try and show the beautiful eyes that these scallops usually have.

Location:  Lake Worth Lagoon, Riviera Beach, Florida, USA

Camera:  Nikon D7000, Nikon 105mm lens, SubSee +10 diopter, Ikelite housing, dual Ikelite DS160 strobes

Settings:  f40, 1250, ISO 200
