HM in Nudibranchs

Honorable Mention, Nudibranchs

So Yat Wai

"Doto sp. with Eggs"  Shot in Tulamben, Indonesia with Canon 5D Mark III

So Yat Wai won a Buy-1, Get-1 Free 7-night, 5-dive package in with Manta Ray Bay & Yap Divers!

The story:  This composition was inspired by traditional Chinese paintings of Plum blossom during springtime. This donut nudibranch was nearly still, therefore I had plenty of time trying different compositions like face-on, diagonal, 3D diagonal etc. Finally, this diagonal shot gave me the feeling of Plum blossom calligraphy painting.

Location:  Tulamben, Bali, Indonesia

Camera:  Canon 5D Mark III, Sea & Sea housing, Canon 100mm lens, Nauticam SMC, dual Inon Z240 strobes

Settings:  f25, 1/200, ISO 200
