“Scads and Turtle“

The Story:
While visiting Misool resort, this massive school of scads would come into the bay at high tide, and the jacks and sharks would follow. All day, the jacks would hunt the scads. Similarly, the green sea turtles would also come into the bay at high tide to munch on the sea grass. I’d been hoping for a shot of the scads, jacks, and the turtle all together, but the turtles hung out over by the seagrass on one side of the bay while the scads and jacks stuck to the other side. On the very last day, I went for one last snorkel with the scads, thinking how cool it would be to have everything come together. Not really thinking it could happen, I was shocked to find one of the greens swimming through the scads! Then the jacks came in and started coralling the fish which made them surge all around the turtle, who was a bit overwhelmed by all the activity and soon left the chaos and went back to his grass bed to munch away.
