"Offspring"

The Story: It was a early spring dive on the eastern Adriatic coast near Zadar, with my new macro wet lens. Just a good time of year to look for spawning of nudibranch Polycera quadrilineata. These little creatures feed on Bryozoa where they are most often occur. The eggs are spawned in a white curve ribbon and each square millimeter of the ribbon contains approximately 250-300 eggs. This very act is the beginning of a new cycle of uncertain struggle for existence and I'm honored every time I can witness it.

Location:  Croatia, Zadar

Equipment Used: Sony RX100M3, Fantasea FRX100V housing, iDiveSite Symbiosis SS3 strobe, Nauticam CMC-1 wet lens

Camera Settings: F9, 1/250, ISO 80
