Supermacro is the next step for avid macro photographers, presenting photos of the tiniest of the tiny critters underwater. Macro turns into supermacro once the subject appears on screen larger than in real life (1:1 reproduction ratio) and often requires a wet diopter to provide more magnification than a macro lens or macro setting will provide.

Supermacro shooting requires precise control over composition and camera focusing in order to best capture the details found in these small ocean subjects.
