The seaweed farms on Nusa Lembongan, Bali, now mostly located in the narrow strait between Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan, churn out tons of seaweed for use in cosmetics in Asian markets. Workers harvest the seaweed and load it on to small boats to bring it back shore to be dried. I took a series of shots in October 2013 one beautiful evening and was lucky enough to catch the silhouette of a farmer returning to shore with a boat load of seaweed at the end of her working day just as the sun was setting.
