Todd, that is a great image. How did you go about getting it? Guess I should expand on my question seeing that you posted EXIF data. Is it only possible to get that reflection on a dead flat calm day? I guess you have to be pretty shallow also.

hey Margaret, read our page on underwater reflections - and you'll see it's all about the angle of the shot, which dictates whether you'll get reflection, mixed reflection/surface (like todd's photo), or only the light from the surface coming through.

Thanks guys! It helps to have a cooperative mola too. :D
As Scott said the reflection has to do with your angle of view.
If you can see it you can shoot it.

I like your Mola Mola picture.
I also have been taking photos of Mola Molas. They were 3 meter in diameter. Realy huge.
