Check out the new nikon d800 specs

what do you think, who wants one? It looks great! Who needs ISO 200,000 anyways? I'll take 25,000 any day!

A couple of random thoughts:
The D800 and D800E look to have pretty reasonable price points.
The cost of purchasing a D800 will have to include the expense of more processing power and storage space because of the LARGE RAW files.
You can keep the Tokina 10-17mm lens because the D800 crop mode is the same MP (or better) as your present Nikon Dx camera.
In your standard 8x10/11x17 print, will you notice a difference with the new 36 MP sensor?
At least 6 months before we see a housing???
Where does Nikon go from here? NIKON RUMORS hit this nail on the head.

I just added a cool promotional video that Nikon released, which was shot entirely with D800.

I will, however, be sticking with my D7000 for now. Now it's Canon's turn to answer...
