Ikelite LX5 housing on LX3

Hi,

Is it possible to use the Ikelite panasonic lumix LX5 housing on the lumix lx3? LX3 and LX5 are very similar shape-wise, the problem that I can think of is that the LX3 joystick being not accessible (Although maybe some small tweaks would make it available).

The 10bar housing for LX3 is very expensive (at that price, a bit extra you get a DSLR housing ...), but the Ikelite one for LX5 seems more reasonable.
