Some photos from one of my local dive sites here in Perth - nothing spectacular I sorry :roll: :roll:

Heading off to Tulamben in Bali in a few weeks so I should get some good stuff then :P :P

nice pics..........I bet it has been nice and chilly at the ammo :shock:......we haven't dived for a few weeks just hangin out for Bali and that tropical water :D

Hi Karl,

Yes, it was pretty cold in the river as well and I'm certainly looking forward to warm tropical waters next week together with sediment free crystal clear water. :)

hey Karl - nice selection of local fauna. what are water temps around perth usually at the dive sites?

Hi Scott,

Sorry for the late reply been busy :oops:

Water temps in Perth are:

Summer (Nov - Mar) usually between 22 - 24 degrees Celsius :D - I usually dive in either a one piece 3mm wetsuit or a 5mm long johns with a long sleeve shark skin top and I am more than comfortable.

Winter (Jun - Sep) water temp is around the 14 - 16 degree Celsius mark :oops: - I have to wear a two piece 5mm wetsuit and after 50 min or so I am really feeling the cold.

The months in between the water is either warming or cooling down.

I would like to get a decent drysuit but they cost so much here in Australia that it is way down on my to get list (but maybe one day :( :( ) plus due to my 'athletic build' I have to get everything custom made :x :x
