Hey Guys..

I just got the F200 EXR. I know its a slightly older model, but i think its a great little thing and the uw picture are quite decent.

I am however not sure if i should get the fuji uw casing or get a 3rd party casing. for that matter, which 3rd party casing is there for F200EXR?

can put an extra wide angle lens? strobe or extra flash??

the fuji housings are usually very good. The fuji cameras take excellent photos, image quality and color are great. Any strobe fired by a fired optic cable should work. I don't think you can attach a wide-angle lens, Inon doesn't make an adapter for that housing.

I am not really seeing much for that camera which usually means it is not a good choice for uw use. :(

In the future consider taking a "system" approach to selecting a camera for uw use. Look at the housings (cases), lenses, trays and other accessories you are interested in and ask yourself what sort of photos you want. Please don't say you want "nice" photos in as I have no idea of what a "nice" photo to you is. You also want to consider what strobes you will use etc, the system or complete package approach is the way to go.

JFYI, these cameras today are on a very short product cycle, once you select a camera you should immediately purchase the main pieces of equipment such as the housing or you will find yourself holding a camera and searching eBay for a used housing.

every housing allows an external flash. so you will have no problem there. See if you can find a used housing for your fuji F200EXR.

there is no difference, a strobe and a flash mean the same thing

To avoid misfires or not firing, look for a strobe that uses a fiber optic cable:
Quote from: http://www.uwphotographyguide.com/underwater-photography-other-underwater-equipment
"Most people not using sync cords will use a fiber optic cable. This is an inexpensive cable that carries the flash along a fiber optic cord from the internal flash up to the strobe, ensuring that the strobe slaves off the internal flash with 100% accuracy. Almost all compact camera housings support this, and some dSLR housings even have room inside the housing for the internal flash to pop up and fire the strobe."
