I would like to introduce myself as a new member and hope to get to know you over time. My name is Bo, I run a small home design business called Hierographics and work very part time as a dive guide escorting guests to the world famous manta ray night dives on the Big island of Hawaii. I started diving in Northern California in 1990 and, as an instructor, trained SCUBA in Monterey and Mendocino. My wife, Jamie and I have travelled quite a bit diving and are always looking for the next place to discover. I enjoyed underwater film photography back then and, when I moved to Hawaii in 2004, I started over with digital and struggled for years 'crossing over'. I believe that I have only started to get a handle on it around the begininng of 2009 and enjoy learning new aspects daily.
After starting with a point and shoot, I now use a Canon XTI DSLR with two DS 51 strobes and use the 18-55mm kit lense, a 50mm macro, and the Tokina 10-17mm fisheye (love it).

hey Bo, really glad to see you on the board. We are all looking forward to seeing home of your hawaii photography. Heck, I'm just about ready to come over to Kona for some Manta Rays!
