I had the oportunity in july to swimm and photograph whalesharks underwater in mexico.
Even the nikkor 10.5mm fisheye lens was sometimes almost too small since we got so close to the whalesharks.
The first day we saw at least 300 whalesharks, the second and third day we saw none, and the fourth day we saw 4 whalesahrks and on the fifth day the sea was again full of whalesharks.

Willie - what a great experience.. so how does one see 300 whale sharks? wow - that seems like a lot! I really enjoyed the photos. What was the visibility like?
we also just dove with some whale sharks on the UWPG La Paz expedition, and we will also post our photos.
