Well I do not remember de the name in english, apologizes for that. I was deeply surprise to see it so late in septmeber, usually they are not seen after july in this lake.

looks like a crawfish to me. Its hard to make colors pop when the subject color is similar to the substrate...

Oh yes (for the color) by the way if anybody has an idea to improve this kind of shooting... :mrgreen:

Opened picture with Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 in Edit Picture mode, clicked on Enhance tab, then clicked Auto Smart Fix tab, here's how it looks after making just those few clicks:
