I'm trying to get my wide angle skills up to speed. Yesterday was a challenging day in that the water didn't have a lot of smutz in it but still plankton blooming. So it was fairly dark and fairly green. Also here its hard to find a subject that is interesting.

Any comments, criticism welcome. Or suggestions on how to imrove too!

imho I like more the first one. I do not know the spot but I think it is greatly similar to my area. In those conditions I find you work very nice indeed.

Nice strobe placement on the 2nd shot. I don't think I've ever seen a starfish shadow before! Nice work in difficult conditions.

I think getting a model could help.

Also, try diving at a place with a naturally good background (oil rigs, catalina kelp forest) and then try to find a good foreground subject, should be easy at either of those locations.
