When last I posted some macro shots, Scott wanted some full face eel images.
The Goldentail is slightly cropped to get rid of some back-scatter on the left. The Green is not cropped. Working distance 6-8 inches. The Goldentail was protecting his lady friend; so I will have to go back with a different lens to see if I can get both together.
Nikon D2x 105mm VR micro with 5+ diopter, Inon Z 220 dual flashes.
RAW post processing with Aperture 2
