Off Shore Surprise Visit

While diving off shore San Diego last Monday. We got a surprise visit by a pod of Common Dolphins. I wasn't able to get the best shots of them as the vis was only about 15' and they arrived at lightspeed! It was a thrill to have them come by for a brief visit.

your very lucky. nice job snapping a photo of them. so they didn't turn around, they just kept going? how many did you think swam by?
I assume you were already in the water when they arrived?

Hey Scott,
Yes, we were hanging on the line and they made a couple passes below us. The vis was so bad below 20' that you couldn't see them coming, I only had time to hold the camera at arms length and take a snap-shot!

WOW! How cool! What a thrill! I can just imagine they were swimming pretty fast and you were thinking "did I just see what I saw?"
