Scott, I really like the SD790. It really doesn't get much easier! Unfortunately, there is no full manual control, so it's pretty much set the ISO to 100, and go for it. I find the macro focusing highlight that pops up on the screen to be a huge help when focusing on something small, like the rhinophores of a nudi. The review option allows me to see highlights or the histogram, which helps out a lot. Also, the battery life allows me a full day of shooting pics and video without having to recharge. Shoots great video too, at the touch of a button.
