Doesn't that sound like fun. Ok, maybe not but I was eager to get my new rig (nikon d200, 2 ds 125 strobes, 10-17 mm tokina, in a nexus housing) wet. The plan was to go out to mid channel and find some blue water but once past the point the wind was screaming so we opted to go to the wreck of the Avalon. The water, once we anchored up was not appetizing but we were optimistic that the water would clear on the way to the 75 ft bottom. For a change we were right. Visibility on the stern of the wreck of the Avalon was quite good and the wreck was very fishy. All of us had Wide Angle lenses on and we took turns modeling for each other. None of us will ever make a living doing this, btw!! Here are a couple from our dives yesterday.....

Margaret, looks like you had some great vis! photo #1 is my favorite.
