Shutter speed Limits while using internal flash!!! 550d

Hi
Ive recently bought the canon 550d and was looking into getting a underwater housing. The Sea & Sea RDX550d is looking very appealing.
But after taking several shots and slowly learning the camera ive come across a restriction of the cameras shutter speed while using the internal flash to trigger my Sea&Sea YS110a strobe (Optically). U can only use speeds of 1/200 or slower while the flash is popped up!!!
So..... My question is does anyone know how to get around the fact that i will be using the internal flash to trigger a strobe but may require a faster shutter speed than 1/200 sec
Is there a menu option i haven't come across or possibly a firmware update to get around the limitations.
Any help is much appreciated

Xkey,
You are correct, 1/200th is the limit. There is no way around it. In general, people are fine using 1/200th - if they want to block out more ambient light they simply close down the aperture. In general it will not be a huge deal. The strobe will freeze any moving subject that it lights up.
hope that helps,
Scott

Cheers for the reply Scott
Ive just done a little more research about the limitation and found that that is the highest X-sinc (Full curtain opening) my camera has is 1/200 while using the flash, my issue was will this not cause motion blur if i require a higher shutter speed for the worlds fastest nudi or something
But looks like I'll just have to maybe try panning... lol

Thanks again Scott for your help
