I'm just wondering what lens would you use as an all around, don't know what I'm going to find on the bottom so I'll put this on lens? To clarify a little, I have a 10-17 tokina for wide angle and a 60 and 105mm for macro but what about the mid-range lens. I know that a lot of people use the Sigma 17-70 but are there other lenses that people are using? Guess I should add that I'm using a nikon d200 in a nexus housing...... :D

Almost all the Nikon shooters that I know put on the 60mm or 10-17mm when they don't know what they are going to find, or want an "all-around" lens. I use a mid-range lens (18-55mm) when I want to do creative shooting, but not for the purposes that you state.
