Hi,
sorry for the random question. Im flying out to tonga on the weekend and my brother has kindly lent me a 50D in an ikelite housing with the 8" dome and the 5510.16 port extension
the problem i have is that he couldnt spare any lenses other than the 18-55 kit lens and i want to get a wide angle for the whales (ive planning on upgrading to a DSLR for a while but this trip came out of nowhere. Ive found a canon 10-22 that i can get my hands on but the ikelite site says that i need the 5510.22 port extension. does anyone know if i can get away even slightly with the shorter port extension (from what i can tell it will physically fit but will it be a problem if its too close to the dome?

Thanks
Lachlan
