UPG forum moderator to receive Master of Photography Degree

UPG forum moderator and contributor Douglas J Hoffman will receive the Master of Photography Degree from the Professional Photographers of America Association January 17th, 2012 in New Orleans. Hoffman also received his second bronze level photographer of the year. While Douglas operates a family portrait business, these awards and accolades were earned solely by print scores from underwater photographs. The PPA is over 140 years old and there is no record of any professional earning this degree using underwater photographs. If not the first to do it, Douglas certainly part of a small group. Professional Photographer Magazine featured Douglas in the November issue.
