housing reflection issue

Hello,

i've bought a my old Ixus 75 a Canon underwater housing (WP-DC14). I'm mainly into snorkeling by now. So far i'm prett happy with the housing except that i most of the time the housing is reflecting a lot and its really hard to see anything on the display.

Any ideas how to solve this issue?
I was already thinking about getting some black tape and build some kind of hood around it.
