It appears that Oly has given us compact shooters yet another choice. The new XZ-1 has a slightly larger sensor than the S series Canons, faster lens, same compact dimensions and dual ring controls. To boot, they also seem to be providing a cost effective and very nice polycarbonate housing. The Oly housings have always been much better than the Canon junk. This new Oly might be an excellent choice with the new Inon HD series lenses or the Inon WAL 100-28Ad and will probably work with the Fisheye UWL-04 and probably other Inon lenses depending upon exactly what thread or mount is on the port. The prime lens zoom ratio of 3X is perfect for most underwater accessory lenses as is the 28mm equivalent.
