Hello. I have a G9 and a G10 and a canon housing for the G9. No strobe or other attachments. After some snorkeling and a dive, I realize I need lighting. Which option would you recommend?
Option 1: build on current G9. Buy a strobe to attach to current canon housing, if so, which one? What else do I need besides a strobe (fiber optic cable, lens, etc)?
Option 2: build on G10. Buy underwater housing and strobe for G10 - if so, what set up?
thanks,

Any optical strobe and any tray that would fit the G9 housing should fit and work with a G10 and vice versa so I don't see that you really have either camera acting as a deciding factor. The G9 does not have RAW--correct? If so, go with the G10.

the canon g9 has raw, and can take great photos.. get one or two strobes, look at Sea & Sea or Inon.. you'll need a fiber optic cable
