Hi, my name's Gil Xavier,

Living in Europe, in a country bathed by the cold north Atlantic our waters are teaming with life, even if crystal clear waters are something we can only dream about.

I'll be posting some photographs and i hope to receive some constructive criticism from my fellow divers.

My underwater photography apparatus is totally non-professional, a Canon A3300 IS encased in an Ikelite housing, my built in flash is aided by a direct light source.

You've certainly got an eye for the small critters like nudibranchs (a personal favorite of mine). A macro wet lens would come in handy for filling the frame with those little guys.
