Hello fellow underwater photographers,
My name is René Weterings and I live in The Netherlands.
I have been diving sinds september 2005 and I always have taken a camera with me.
Now I am an enthousiastic diver, that dive's all year round in the cold Dutch salty waters and sweet water lakes. Always taking pictures.
I don't care whether the watertemperatuur is -2 degrees Celcius in winter or 22 degrees Celcius in summer.
I started with a Canon G7 in Canon housing without external flash. I flooded this one in Egypte and the I bought the Canon G9 with Ikelite housing and Ikelite DS51 strobe. I have used this set for about 3 years and then I wanted to take it a step further.
So I chose the Olympus E-PL2 (second hand) with a new Olympus housing and bought an Inon Z-240 and D-2000 (second hand). This is the set I have been using from the beginning of 2012 and I am still loving it.
With this set I use the stock 14-42mm and Subsee +10 or Inon UCL-330.
In about a few weeks, I will also use the Olympus 60mm macro lens!
If you like, you can look at some pictures on my Facebook page.
Hopefully I will learn a lot on this forum and the Underwater Photography Guide website.
