Hi everyone Ive been encouraged to re-introduce myself. Im Mike B aka Critternut.
Im an SLR shooter, i currently use Nikon D300's with a variety of lenses. I travel a bit and have focused alot of energy on SE Asia, Mainly Philippines.Yes i do love critters meaning small animals. But i love the big stuff too, While i admit is intriguing to watch the strike speed of a frogfish, or to see a bobbit worm feed. There is something about an animal the size of school bus gently gliding bye or staring straight at you.Animal interaction no matter how large is always a significant experience.
My motto-Slow down...learning curve ahead...

So post your animal questions or more importantly observations and how you capture animal behavior
Have fun!

Mike B is Mike Bartick - one of my frequent dive buddies. We're glad to have Mike on the board as a critter photography / behavior expert. Check out his frogfish article.

Mikey, we're looking forward to seeing some of your behavior shots from your last couple trips to the Philippines.
