Hello^^, my name is Ori, and im quite new to underwater photography and photography at all.
I live in israel and almost 17 years old, i've been diving for 3 years now and every chance i get i take my poor gear and go to dive with a friend ^^
Recently i discovered how fun photography is, especially underwater. Fortunate for me, my dad and my brother are both camera freaks so i had them explain the basics and etc for me ^^
atm im searching the right camera kit for me to start with and in the summer i will be flying abroad to California and probably dive at the channel islands.
I love wandering around in the forums and guides, and the nudibranches seem so awesome:)

Hello Ori, and welcome to the UWPG forums! If you're searching for the right camera kit, look no further than our friends and equipment sponsor, Bluewater Photo! They are located in Santa Monica, CA, so you may be able to stop in and see them during your visit.
Also, they have many trips planned to the Channel Islands this summer, so be sure to call or email them about the camera set-ups and trips!

Have a wonderful time!

hi Ori
I'd check out this camera guide

A sealife DC1400 is real simple. An Ikelite S100 housing + Canon S100 is high quality and not too expensive, and the Recsea G12 is a great choice. - Scott
