Geitodoris heathi?

Not sure what your nudibranch is? Post it here for identification!

I took this pic at Anacapa Island. When I saw this nudi, I assumed it was a Doris montereyensis, but when processing the photo I was thrown off by the minute black specks, and the dark blotch just anterior to the gills. My thought is that this is Geitodoris heathi. Thoughts?

Thanks for the help!
Zig

Methinks your thought is correct, Zig... Yeah, G. heathi. Have a good trip to the Caribbean and bring back some neat nudies...

Zig, you keep making these great finds. I wouldn't have noticed that one. Keep up the good work!
