Snailfish ID help!

I shot this little guy at La Jolla Shores, San Diego, the markings are different than other Snailfish I have shot. Could it be a Spotted Snailfish???

WOW, that's really cool looking!! I will do some asking around and see what I can dig up for you. Never EVER seen that type of patterning on the side. (not like I've seen that many snailfish, but you know...)
