What is this critters?!!

Hello Gents,
I found this thing in a night dive , depth i think it was 40ft , when i was observing it , if i pointed my light on it it will swim toward it until it hit the light , if i point my light away from it it will swim far away , my buddy said that they get itchy on the neck am assuming she hit this thing while swimming

My best guess would be a siphonophore of some kind. Lots of different types, just floating around. They usually have a swimming bell, and often a little gas filled float that keeps them right side up. They fish for stuff to eat with their long dangly tentacles.
