I've never seen a hermit crab sharing it's home with anyone... Thought this was so cute!

That's too funny... I bet the scallop (?-Janna, help!) was not amused when the crab moved into its home.
Hermits actually are not that solitary. All kinds of critters live with them - anemones (up to 3 different species in one shell), other crustaceans, worms, even fish.
