More Jellies

After traveling 30 miles in my boat last weekend in seach of jellies, where do I find them, beach diving at La Jolla Shores!!

Really nice jelly shots!! I can see them in 2011 Divebums calendar.......We've been out looking for the jellies too, without any luck.

Woohoo!!! What a great find! It was just meant to be for you, especially since you had your wide angle setup! The photos are beautiful! I love how the pretty green water is a lovely contrast with these species of jellies!

Beautiful!! I too, like the contrast between the jelly and the background water color. Very nicely done. Composition is great too!

So do these guys sting much? Do you really need to be careful when photographing them?

Thanks! I've never really had to much of a problem with these jellies, of coarse I'm pretty much covered up. I did get a pretty good sting last weekend from a Fried Egg jelly, which I have never felt before from these. I would think different people might be affected differently, as with bee stings.
