Hi Scott and all!
I was in the Red sea a couple of weeks ago and had my compact camera with me. I got surprisingly good photos with my simple equipment. I have one photo, not a good one though, with a unknown fish on and would like to here from you what kind it is? It lied peacefully together with a moray on the corals.
Best regards and thank you/ Magnus

hey Magnus - thanks for posting the mystery fish. On my screen it's really difficult to see what it is. Perhaps you can crop the photo and enhance the colors in photoshop a little to make it easier to see the fish.

Like Scott said, it's kinda hard to see but I will take a stab and say it looks like a grouper. They are know to hunt with Moray's at times, I have never heard of them just hanging out like that though.
Not exactly sure but I would guess Greasy Grouper (Epinephelus tauvina) but I am open to suggestions.
